Orthodontics is a specialty in dentistry
that moves teeth into a different position. The teeth may be too
far out, too far in, twisted or crowded. The jaws may be mis-aligned
and the whole face may be spoilt by the lips, teeth and jaws.
Fortunately, all these conditions can be well treated by modern
orthodontics, and we are pleased to have the visiting services of
a specialist orthodontist Dr. Giles Plunket.
Giles
Plunkett is a very experienced specialist who insists on taking
a lot of time to explain the treatment plans to both the patients
and (where applicable) their parents. Whilst most of his patients
are children or teenagers, he has much experience in adult orthodontics.
Dr Plunkett's visits to our surgery save our patients the inconvenience
of travelling elsewhere for this part of their dental treatment.
It has the added advantage that the treatment can be also discussed
with their general practitioner who is also in attendance in the
building at the same time.
