Veneers are thin layers of either porcelain or composite resin which are laminated directly onto your teeth giving you an overall 'smile lift' and a whole new look that will last for years.

Many of the top actors and actresses as well as tv personalities and models get their straight white smiles using veneers. These are great favorites of Dr Osborne and he loves the look of delight on patients faces when first presented with the mirror at completion.

Both porcelain and composite veneers give excellent results in most cases. Porcelain does nearly always require some irreversible preparation of the tooth. Impressions are then taken and porcelain veneers are constructed by a specialist technician and porcelain artist. The patient then returns to the surgery where they are cemented usually one to two weeks later.

Composite veneers often need no preperation at all and the veneers are bonded direct to teeth requiring only one visit. Composite veneers are very much less costly than their porcelain counterparts. Dr Osborne has been constructing smiles out of composite for 30 years but in the last five years the advances in the materials and techniques have made for far more quality and reliablity.
